A Great British tennis weekend

by Jacqueline

Hi there I’m called Jacqueline and I play tennis at Hylands. It is a joy for me to play tennis and I think for all people that play here. As more people come to join us it is better for everyone because everyone gets to play different people. I am 8 years old by the way. It was a pleasure talking to you about the club but now I’m going to talk to you about Red group.

Red Group

The Red level is a great way of starting tennis because you play with people of your standard. Red group’s balls are soft so people in the Red group don’t have to use all their force to hit the balls. Lots of people from Orange league help the Red group become better so they can move up to the Orange group and become better at tennis. Can guess what I’m going to talk to you about now? The Orange group.

Orange Group

The Orange group is the group you go to once you finish the red level. I am in the Orange group. It is challenging when it comes to playing a match in this group. All the people that play in the Orange group are very tough to play with, but with lots of confidence in yourself, you will probably win the match. In the Orange group, you sometimes have to play matches against the Green group. Well, you don’t have to but it would be better if you did do it. Can you guess what I’m going to talk to you about now?  The Green group.

Green Group

The Green league is a great group. My sister Kimberley is in the Green group. When I play the Green group in a match I will probably lose but I would get a few points off them. It will be a bit scary when I move up but it’ll be great when I do. That’s all I have to say for now.

I liked writing this blog and having a good go at new things. While I was writing this blog I kept getting more and more ideas.
